The story behind BGC's multi-brand dining destination
The Split is a food hall-like renaissance born from what used to be Izakaya Sensu and Chotto Matte. Located on the ground floor of Seven Neo in Bonifacio Global City, it brings together four of Raintree Hospitality Group's most beloved brands under one vibrant roof.
Led by Chef Kalel Chan, The Split embraces the way Filipinos naturally eat: shared plates, mixed orders, food passed around the table, and multiple cravings satisfied all at once. It's not just a restaurant -- it's a dining experience designed for how we actually gather.
Whether you're craving artisanal pastries from Providore, bold Filipino comfort food from Friends & Family Upside Down, crispy Japanese tonkatsu from Saboten Express, or sushi and cocktails from Chotto Matte, The Split lets you have it all at one table.
The same group behind some of Metro Manila's most recognized dining establishments.
Raintree Hospitality Group is the team behind Jones All Day, Farmer's Table, My Country House Tagaytay, and many more celebrated concepts. With The Split, they've taken their best-performing brands and distilled them into a single, dynamic destination.
The concept reflects Raintree's philosophy: great food should be inclusive, shareable, and fun. By housing four distinct culinary identities in one space, The Split eliminates the compromise of group dining -- everyone gets exactly what they're craving.
The creative force steering The Split's kitchen
Chef Kalel Chan heads The Split's kitchen, bringing together the best of four Raintree restaurants past and present. His menu features signature creations that span Filipino and Japanese cuisines -- from Sesame Furikake Crusted Tuna Tataki and Lumpiang Ubod 'Pie Tree' to Spicy U.S. Beef Mala Steamboat Sinigang.
Under his direction, each brand retains its identity while benefiting from a unified kitchen that ensures quality and consistency across every dish that reaches the table.
